Their fundraising program, “Change iT”, allows people to donate their loose change, bringing clean water and sanitation solutions to billions of people in need.

The prominence of contrast in the imagery – being the bright green straw against the rest of the composition -- allows the audience to interpret the concept quickly and efficiently, understanding that even the smallest donation can make a difference.

This campaign is a play on words and imagery. “Loose Coins Cause Change” is a call to action to save your loose change and put it towards WaterisLife’s Straw Filter, which creates safe, drinkable water for those who really need it.

The color of the straw is representative of the money put towards funding the Straw Filter, and the three various items—coin purse, jar, and piggy bank—are places people are known to keep loose change. The juxtaposition of the imagery creates a simple, yet clear message when coupled with the copy.
